Shab-e-bar-at( The night of forgiveness)

Today comes the awaiting night of all the muslims around the world, Shab-e-bar-at. According to islamic calender it is the 15th night of the month Shaban which is prior to the month Ramazan. 

It is believed that this night is the night of forgiveness, Allah almighty forgives the sins of all those who call him by thier true heart. Allah almighty sends his angels to the earth and orders them to find the men folk seeking forgiveness for thier sins and who so ever is calling him by thier true soul, he forgives them. 

O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you.

This is one of the ayat in the 'Holy Quran'.

Muslims all arund the world seek forgiveness from the Allah almighty this night. 

This is night is followed by a full day fast. However, this fast isn't compulsory but it's of great importance as Prophet Muhammad used to keep it.
